SFF 2012 started off with the flash of camera bulbs as the stars descend on Sarasota to walk the red carpet and take in our opening night film, Robot & Frank. A delightful dramatic comedy set sometime in the near future, the film stars Frank Langella, James Marsden, Liv Tyler, Susan Sarandon and Peter Sarsgaard, and explores our evolving rela- tionship with technology through an unlikely duo. After the film, attendees ate, drank, and danced the night away in the Van Wezel’s Bayfront Grand Foyer.
